This is a special release from academy. You got the same nice parts from Academy's 1/48 scale P47D with some extras to build Colonel Francis Gabreski's P47D Thunderbolt. The decal set is specially made by Cartograf and includes the markings for the plane and stencils. Academy added a small set of dry transfers with serial numbers and fuselage letters. Finally, you get a nice 1/48 scale resin figure representing Col. Gabreski to place along side your kit. A nice touch!
